Project Overview
DIEM is Venice.ai's tokenized perpetual AI compute asset on Base. One staked DIEM grants a daily $1 Venice API compute allowance that refreshes each day and does not roll over. DIEM can be traded, transferred, staked, used as collateral, and burned to unlock the underlying staked VVV used during minting. Minting requires locking staked VVV, and the dynamic mint rate rises as supply approaches the roughly 38,000 target supply, making additional issuance progressively harder. Venice.ai itself is a privacy-first, uncensored AI aggregation platform founded by Erik Voorhees, with millions of users, strong traffic, paid subscriptions, API usage, and VVV buy-and-burn value capture. DIEM is therefore best tracked as AI-compute infrastructure rather than a traditional revenue-sharing company token.
